Hi guys, your friend Faheem, is here again to share another really interesting business idea. As you know, it is very difficult to spend a large amount in the current economic situation to open a big store or a well-decorated and beautiful general store. The idea benefits someone who has goods to sell and doesn’t invest in opening a shop because of no money.
First of all, all you have to do is check and write down a list of some good general stores in your locality that are running well and have strong regular sales. The list will include the name of the general store, location, area and contact number. Only those stores that are situated in the area where the residence has buying power will be shortlisted.
In this stage, you must first contact the owners of the shortlisted stores over the phone or visit them physically. Tell him/her if you want to rent a shelf in his / her shop to display your product for sale. If he/she has some interest in your idea, tell about the features of your product.
You give him / her two offers in this phase. In the first offer, you tell him/her that you give him/her a shelf rental for 50 or 100 units of your product to be displayed for sale, and in the second offer, tell for a fee per unit business model. In either of the two ways, sign an agreement with him.
After finalizing the contract, you visit it on a weekly basis and check how many units of your product have sold out and add a new unit to match 100 units. For eg, after one week, if 30 out of 100 units sell out, you add 30 more because you have a 100 unit agreement. And if your product is nice and attractive, you’ll receive a really good amount of money.
One very useful piece of advice is that if you insure your product then you don’t have to worry about any mishap. When having a rental or fee-based shelf, you can save the money that you have to pay for hiring a sales agent, promotional expenses and energy bills.
