Chai (tea) is literally a national drink in Pakistan. It’s present on all occasions, whether it’s a protest or a wedding; all events are incomplete without at least one form of tea.

According to one survey conducted by the gallop, about 73% of Pakistanis like to drink two to three cups of tea a day. From these statistics, you can imagine how much you can earn from this business by opening an old-style chai dhaba with clean cups and a clean hygienic environment.

The most important thing in this business is to find the right place for the dhaba. It may be close to government offices, Kachari, educational institutions. You just have to build a cabin and an outdoor place for chairs, there are only two people in the staff, one for serving and the other for tea experts.
You can take an idea of profit, even at the regular tea stall, the price of one cup of tea is PKR 20. If I take the example of the local place of Islamabad, the cost of a low-quality teacup is PKR 30. As a matter of statistics, if you are able to sell 100 cups a day, your daily sale is about PKR 2,500. Your profit margin is dependent on your business model. The best thing is that you can start with a very low investment of about PKR 25000.
Thank you and best of luck 🙂
